The one field everyone seems to miss is selecting whether your are MALE or FEMALE! The data from this field is not stored on the file. It, however, is needed to help differentiate the registrant when it comes to being a married lady entering a Maiden Name. Most men, that we know of, do not have Maiden Names, at least we think that's the case. So, don't forget to select your gender at the top of the form!

The biggest issue most registrants have is with the Group Name. Ordinarily, if your group already exists, it will appear in the Drop Down Selections Box. All you have to do is Click the Down Arrow on the Drop Down Box and then click on the name of the Group (or Organization) that you are subscribing to.

Sometimes the group that you are looking for does not appear in the Drop Down Box. This means that it has not yet been created and other friends, co-workers or family have not previously registered to cause that to happen. Thus, you would be the first! The unique thing about this registration page is that you can CREATE a NEW GROUP by entering a Group Name in the light blue shaded box. Then you would have to choose the TYPE of GROUP you are creating. When you click the SUBMIT Button, your new group will be automatically created and inserted in the Drop Down Box list.

Second - We suggest that you be as simple and informative about your new group name as possible. We suggest that you enter the Name of your Group so that it does not sound like it can be applied to someone else, not part of your group. Don't use say "Graduating Class of 49". Use similar to: "Frampton High School - Class of 1949". That's just a goofy example. But it is MORE informative. Maybe, also, include: the City and State, like: "Frampton High School (Little Rock, AK) Class of 1949"! See the more information you give, the better your other classmates will find your group.

Remember, FRIENDS is a Service, not just for Classmates. It can be for Large Families, Social Groups, Businesses, etcetera! And, it's FREE!!!
