Searching for Advertising can be a real
pain. Our Search Engine does not act the same way as the search engines
found with the likes of Google Ò.
We SEARCH for Advertising based on
several keys. These include Category, your most prominent key; U.S. Zip Code
and up to TEN Key Words. KEY WORDS really limit the number of possible hits you will get with our search engine. Things to remember about setting Search Criteria are as follows:
Some combination of Search Criteria is possible. As an Example, by setting Category and Zip Code, you would get all the ads that are in that category, but containing the Zip Code selected only. Setting Category and Key Words, would bring up all ads within that category, that contain some or all of the Key Words selected. You cannot set Category within Zip Code. In other words, if you set the Zip Code, you will get ALL the ads in ALL Categories that contain that Zip Code |
The same thing will occur with KEY
WORDS, although advertising that set key words use words that are
descriptive of their business. Key Words could bring up advertising that is
not of interest to you simply because the ads contain key words that fall
within your Search Criteria. Key Words do not disseminate Categories or Zip Codes. That means that advertising from ALL Categories within ALL Zip Codes will be searched for the Key Words you select. We are working on better dissemination schemas for Search Criteria.
